Recently, CPF and China National Packaging Corporation(CNPC) released the review results of the 2023 annual Packaging Industry Science and Technology Award, and the project of the School of Materials and Packaging Engineering of FPNU "Research on the gradient control of Microcrystalline polyolefin film thermal sealing strength and its application" won the first prize.

The project was completed in cooperation with Tianjin HuaHeng Packaging Materials Co., LTD., led by Professor Lin Yuanzhi, and its members include Liu Xiang, Su Yuhang, You Yingbai, Zhou Jian, Li Yonghong and so on.

Packaging Industry Science and Technology Award is a comprehensive award for packaging industry jointly established by CPF and CNPC. It is the only provincial and ministerial award in packaging industry. In 2023, a total of 3 first prizes, 9 second prizes and 14 third prizes were awarded.
