On 13th August, the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education (CSTVE) hosted the founding conference of the Industry-Education Integration Community (IEIC) of the National Health and Wellness Industry and its first plenary meeting in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. A total of 114 director units in China participated in the conference, in which FPNU was elected as the vice chairman unit. Ren Zhanying, Director of the Vocational College Development Division from the Department of Vocational Education and Adult Education of the Ministry of Education, and Song Min, CSTVE Executive Vice President, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Professor Liao Shenji, FPNU President, attended the meeting with the heads of the School of Education (or School of Vocational Education).
At the Conference, the IEIC Charter was passed, and the first chairman unit, vice chairman unit, executive chairman unit and secretariat unit were elected. As well, the Development Plan for the IEIC was discussed and approved. President Liao Shenji received the plaque of the vice chairman unit on behalf of the FPNU during the unveiling ceremony and the plaque-giving ceremony (plaques to the chairman unit, vice chairman unit, executive chairman unit, and the representative of director units) of the IEIC.
Representatives also visited the training base of China Friendship Group (a healthcare company) in Qinghuangdao.
